SARAH ZECCHINO - OWNER/Creative Director

Sarah began dancing at the age of 2 in Rochester, NY.  She was trained in Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, African, and Hip Hop.  Sarah received a scholarship from her dance studio her junior year in High School.  Throughout High School Sarah participated in several work-shops and master classes, from Hip Hop at SUNY Brockport, Garth Fagan in Rochester, to Broadway Dance Center in NYC.

She then carried over her love for dance into college.  Sarah attended the New York University, College at Buffalo majoring in Psychology with a minor in dance.  As a freshman in College, Sarah was recruited to dance professionally with a traveling Modern Dance Company.  Janet Reed and Dancers performed in numerous showcases and festivals in Western New York.

She was involved in the Dance Theatre Performing Arts Company, in which she performed annually and her senior year self-choreographed a piece for the showcase.

After graduating college, Sarah moved to Southwest Florida and began teaching at a local dance studio in Bonita Springs.  Soon after Sarah opened the doors to her own studio  in the Fall of 2011.  Sarah continues to train with dance professionals in master classes from all over the world.

Since opening Bourne 2 Dance, Sarah has helped train her dancers to strive for excellence in and outside the dance room.

Sarah entered the world of competition with her dancers 10 years ago and has many overall high scores, special awards (including Best Choreography, Most Entertaining, Top scoring piece of the competition and many more).  Most importantly she teaches her dancers that we are only in competition with ourselves.

Dance is her passion and she continues to build her studio into a fun family atmosphere which all ages can enjoy!

Brianna Dumas - INSTRUCTOR

Brianna has been dancing since she was four years old. In the beginning, Brianna trained with Sarah Zecchino at Dance Dynamics, but she followed her when she opened her own studio. Her

training at Bourne 2 Dance included hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics. For her last seven years with B2D she was on the competition team and won many awards for her studio including The Heart of Gold award. The Heart of Gold award goes to a dancer who shows a true love for dance and everyone around them. This organization donates money to a cancer center. As a kid she always wanted to dance for cancer, so with this award

she did just that. Brianna is a member of the prestigious Florida Gulf Coast University’s Dancing E'gals dance team. Miss Brianna  is

going into her senior year at FGCU and she can not wait to take on more classes this year at B2D.
